African art and Designs

African Designs

We are committed to offering authentic, high quality art and sculptures that reflect the African diversity, complexity, creativity and uniqueness.
W e carry an extensive collection of authentic African clothing, ethnic apparel, ethnic arts and crafts, and afro centric bling bling. Our goal is to promote the rich African culture with a refreshing diversity of elegant and modish styles! We feature African and ethnic clothing that are carefully hand made by our designers, embroiderers, from various parts of East, west, South and Central Africa including countries like Kenya, Cote D'Ivoire, Benin, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia.

Our ethnographic art objects and artifacts include sculptures, masks, jewelry, furnishings from across Africa, from East to West, Central to South.

Each African clothing, art sculpture or painting holds special personal significance and has its own imagery and symbolism.

The reason for doing business in African art and clothing is to support my own people and be proud of my heritage. This is also a way of supporting the artists that created the work. Most of my art work is created by emerging artists who blend the old and the new to make art that's more contemporary but with a medieval flair. When you purchase one of these pieces, you help to support the African women who toil day in day out to put bread on the table for their families, sustain their countries' economies and most importantly, it gives them a feeling of financial independence and promotes self-reliance.

You can augment the style in your dining room by choosing pieces that depict the family setting. African artifact pieces can be displayed to add to your decoration style. A painting or sculpture of lovers can be a great rendition to your bedroom theme or can increase the romance in your living room area. The same way a carving of a Masai warrior can instill courage and bravery in your children.

TYPES OF CLOTH
In order of tradition and value, our garments are made out of weaves, tie
dyes, batiks, and industrial prints. This represent the four types of cloth Africans use to create clothing
